Update a Nightstand

Instead of getting rid of old furniture and buying new, update the pieces yourself. For example, it’s easy to update a nightstand with a simple molding update, paint and new feet. Once you’re done, look around your home and apply what you learned to even more pieces of outdated furniture.

Our Tip: A variety of glues will work great for this project, including epoxy or wood glue, especially if you want a clear or natural finish that will hold up to anything, including a hand repeatedly slamming down on a pesky alarm clock.
